Teach children the concept of Mercy. Best tool to survive in this world 2. Teach them the significance and logic of each ritual of Islam, so they don't feel bored and actually have the yearning to perform these actions. (i.e., when u perform salah you are standing in front of Allah swt and its not a duty but a privilege that He is allowing you to stand in his presence and that you can ask him anything you want..etc) 3. Relate stories of the prophets (peace be upon them), also the stories of Sahaba and Shabiat raa. Stories of Sulman, Yunus, Yusuf peace be upon all of them can keep them interested. jinn's, man inside, fish that sorta stuff always attract kids. **************************************************************************** * Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.27.
